Blueprints
What are blueprints you ask? Blueprints are types of weapons, armors, specials, hulls that needed to be collected before you can use them. Each blueprint has a certain number of pieces needed to collect before you can use it Note: You cannot receive ship blueprints from cargo fleets.
Tiers and where to get them
There are three tiers of blueprints, tier 1 tier 2 and tier 3. Blueprints are found by attacking cargo fleets on the world map primarily. You need a varying number of blueprint pieces to complete the blueprint, and a equal level intelligence lab before you can use your blueprints. Blueprints are better than researchable tech, such as Rapier missiles.

Especially with 40 salvages easy to find after May 2016 update, there's really no reason for a player to ever collect tier I and II blueprints. Hit 40's to collect tier III's as a move toward getting raid tech, which is better than all the blueprints.
ReplyDeleteTrue, but with assault X cannons being in tier 1, and being equal to the other assault cannons, tier 1 is worth it to get the one blueprints, as it is easier to get as the salvs are easier, and less blueprints to finish before and a better drop rate.
